For the fifth consecutive year, the countdown to Farmaforum 2018 has begun. The most important event of the Pharmaceutical Industry and related sectors in Spain, will take place in Madrid on 7 and 8 March.
It is possible to obtain mussels that do not accumulate toxins using genetic selection techniques. This is the conclusion reached after several years of study by researchers from various institutions, leading by Centro de Investigacións Mariñas (CIMA).
SEAFOODTOMORROW is a new, €7m European Union Horizon 2020-funded project that aims to develop innovative sustainable solutions for improving the safety and dietary properties of seafood in Europe. Addressing the challenge to meet the growing market need for safe and sustainable seafood, the project will generate new knowledge to develop commercial solutions for improving the socio-economic and environmental sustainability of the European seafood production and processing industry.
On November 29, the event “Technologies and innovative solutions to face the environmental challenges of the canning industry” will be held in Vigo, organized by Cetaqua, the Galician Center for Water Research Foundation and ANFACO CECOPESCA.
